Regular retail hours resume Friday August 7th
We will be away for a mid-summer break, but available for shopping appointments again on August 3rd. That means we will be closed for two weekends: Friday July 24 + Saturday July 25, and Friday July 31 + Saturday August 1. Regular hours resume the following week.
Shopping appointments are available before the 24th and after August 2nd - call or email to set up a time.
Seed-Grown Native Plants
The 2026 season marks Wing and a Prayer’s 13th year of offering seed-grown native plants to create and enhance life-sustaining biodiverse habitat for pollinators, birds, and other New England wildlife

For the 2026 season the nursery is moving just 1.5 miles down the road to a small field near the intersection of Powell Rd and West Cummington Road, still in Cummington MA. Our location is updated in Google Maps - please park near the yellow star shown on the map here.
There is no bathroom - but the Old Creamery Co-op has a bathroom just 4 minutes down the road, and is a great place to stop for lunch. Many folks will pass the Creamery on their way here anyway - a perfect place for a pit stop if you had a longer drive.
Please no dogs! There are other dogs and farm animals on the property, and the nursery sits at the edge of a hay field in production.
It’s rented land - the owners have graciously allowed the nursery to operate here and we want to make sure their space is respected; please keep to the nursery area.
